About Saalt Cup

Unlike most brands in the menstrual cup business, Saalt stands out for offering more options for your period than just cups. Their cup selection is accompanied by a stock of "Saalt Wear" that is also designed both for comfort and to aid with either light or heavy flow days. Providing another way to remain comfortable and protected during your days.

Nonetheless, the Saalt Cup is all on its own a reliable and good option for anybody looking for their first menstrual cup. Their cups come in various presentations. Their Saalt Cup is available in Regular and Small, as is the Saalt Soft Cup. Lastly, the Saalt Teen Cup comes in a single size meant to provide the best fit for younger women. This variety coupled with its affordable price makes the Saalt Cup both easy to use and easy to get; a strong combination no matter how you look at it.

Great cup but high cervix beware!
As someone with more sensitivity, I wanted to try a softer cup. Out of all the cups I have tried, I have to say the Saalt Soft has been the only one where I truly did not feel anything all day. It is super comfortable! The suction (which I have some issues with some cups) is normal and doesn't cause me any discomfort.

My issue with it mainly goes with the face that I have a high tilted cervix. The Saalt soft is way too short of length and rode up pretty high where I had an extremely difficult time getting it out. I also find the stem to be useless. Since the silicone is so soft, all the stem does is stretch like an elastic band when you pull on it, rather than actually moving the cup down. I think it'll be a great cup for anyone that doesn't have a high cervix.
    Pros
    • Super comfortable and soft silicone
    • Normal suction and holes are easy to clean
    Cons
    • Not for someone with a high cervix
    • The stem isn't really useful as it stretches instead of moving the cup down
    • A little bit of finessing needed for getting the cup to open, which is common of all soft cups

    Yes, I recommend this product.

It works well but since it is so soft it can be a pain to open. Unfortunately I need a higher capacity cup and don’t like to fiddle with this cup trying to get it open every time I need to dump it.
    Pros
    • Don’t feel it
    • No bladder issues
    Cons
    • Have to fiddle with it to open it

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Perfect cup for me
I couldn’t recommend this cup more. I’ve had a lot of pain with my previous cups (blossom large and small), and this is just the complete opposite. It molds perfectly to my vagina, and I have no leaks. Removal and insertion is pain free, and there’s no pressure on my bladder. If you have a sensitive vagina or bladder, GET THIS CUP!! I’m never going back to pads!
    Pros
    • Beautiful color
    • Super soft
    • Pain free removal/insertion
    • Minimal/no leaking
    • Soft stem
    Cons
    • Slightly too small, I wish there was a “middle” size
    • Slippery when wet

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Great cup
I love this cup. It’s so comfortable and it doesn’t put pressure on my bladder. I love the colour as well. The only issue I have is that it can be a little trickier to open but that’s expected from a softer cup. I think compared to other soft cups it is relatively easy to open. But if you haven’t used a soft cup before it might take some fiddling around.
    Pros
    • Comfy
    • Colour
    • Easier to open than other soft cups
    Cons
    • Maybe a little tricky to open if you are used to firmer cups.

    Yes, I recommend this product.
